Venturing into entrepreneurship, Mr. Morales established his own mechanic and body shop business in 2002, a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence. Recognizing the need for a holistic approach to customer service, he expanded his business to include a towing service, ensuring that clients faced with mechanical issues were not only provided with solutions but also offered a means to transport their vehicles for repairs.
In 2007, Mr. Morales’ visionary leadership propelled him to diversify his business further,
acquiring a tow truck and subsequently expanding his truck fleet to include a boxed truck for transporting parts, dumpster trucks, trailers, and flatbeds. This expansion not only showcased his business acumen but also underscored his commitment to providing comprehensive services to his clientele.
In the face of challenges and obstacles, Mr. Morales’ unwavering commitment to his employees and their well-being led him to establish his own Union. This proactive approach not only addressed issues such as racial profiling but also ensured a supportive and inclusive work environment for his team.

Our Director epitomizes the essence of a lifelong social justice advocate—an embodiment of resilience, determination, and unwavering conviction. Her journey stands as a testament to the boundless potential that lies within the human spirit, demonstrating that with heart, strength, intelligence, and unwavering diligence, any obstacle can be overcome, and every dream pursued.
Born in California on January 18, 1980, she was thrust into the international spotlight at the tender age of three, becoming one of the few fortunate FBI missing children to emerge from adversity with the ability to share her tale. Placed under the Hauge Convention, her survival amidst challenging circumstances serves as a testament to her remarkable fortitude and resilience.

Following her rescue from a third-world orphanage by dedicated family members, her journey took an arduous turn as she encountered adversities that would shape her unwavering commitment to social justice. Despite facing numerous traumatic experiences, being a victim of sexual assault, including the heartbreaking legal kidnapping of her daughter Tiffany due to the corruption within the Texas Family Courts, she remained steadfast in her resolve to stand up for what is right, and being an advocate and voice for victims of all kinds.
In her professional pursuits, she has exemplified excellence and dedication at every turn.
Beginning her career at the age of 18 within the esteemed CTM Transportation Department under the leadership of Don Fidel, she laid the groundwork for her future endeavors. Venturing into the realm of international trade, she showcased her expertise as a Maritime broker for Meritus de Mexico, representing distinguished organizations at embassies across Spain, England, and France. At age 22, her global journey continued as she navigated the intricate world of industrial logistics, overseeing the import and export of industrial tires from Japan through seven international ports before reaching Mexican customs.
Her commitment to intellectual growth and professional development is reflected in her
extensive educational achievements. After graduating from Universidad del Valle in Mexico with degrees in Psychology and Law, she embarked on a journey to deepen her understanding of aviation through specialized training at Millenium Aviation in Canada and McCrerry Aviation in McAllen. Her dedication to serving others extended to the medical field, where she obtained certification as a Phlebotomist from the Phlebotomy Institute in Austin and delved into the nuances of Child Development at Texas A&M University.
With linguistic prowess spanning multiple languages—Spanish, English, Italian, and
French—she possesses a global perspective that transcends boundaries, enabling her to forge meaningful connections and advocate for change on a global scale.

Hilda Duarte’s illustrious career spanning over two decades in the field of education, from 1994 to 2015, is marked by her unwavering dedication and remarkable achievements. Throughout her tenure, she served in multifaceted roles, with her most enriching experience being as a District Community/Parent Liaison. In this capacity, she adeptly guided students and parents alike, empowering them to set ambitious goals and facilitating their journey toward unparalleled academic excellence.
Beyond her outstanding contributions to education, Hilda is recognized as a fervent local
political advocate and activist, deeply committed to championing community causes, particularly those concerning discrimination and civil rights violations. Her unwavering commitment to social justice was exemplified when she stood as a co-defendant alongside Rey De Los Santos in a pivotal lawsuit against the City of Dallas regarding the redistricting plan in 2012.

Hilda’s leadership prowess and unwavering commitment to community empowerment were further honed during her tenure as a member of the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Inaugural Leadership Institute Group in 2005. Her philanthropic endeavors extend far beyond professional realms, as evidenced by her longstanding involvement with Navidad En El Barrio’s Amigo’s Board, where she dedicated countless hours to distributing meals to less fortunate families and providing companionship to the elderly in the West Dallas community.
As a stalwart member of the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Hilda has demonstrated exceptional leadership acumen, serving five years as National Chaplain before being elected President of local Council 4782 by her peers. Her active engagement in political
discourse is further underscored by her membership in the Dallas County Tejano Democrats.
Hilda’s tenacity and advocacy were instrumental in her role as secretary of the Coalition Against the Relocation of the Argos Cement Plant in 2016. Additionally, her pivotal efforts in reversing the West Dallas evictions into homeownership in August 2017 underscore her profound impact on community welfare.
